Help

Most things are quicker to fix in the app than by email, so the common ones are below. If yours is not here, write to us — a person reads it.

Tell us your account’s email address, what you were doing, and what happened instead. A screenshot saves a round trip. Never send us your password — we will never ask for it.

Common questions

Somebody logged a game wrong
Do not confirm it. Tap Dispute on the game and say what was wrong. A disputed game stops counting straight away and moves nobody's rating while the dispute is open. If it is not sorted out, the game is voided and any effect it had is reversed exactly.
A game I played is not showing up
Someone has to log it, and everyone who played has to confirm it. Check the inbox in the app for a pending game waiting on you. If it was logged somewhere with no signal, it is queued on that person's phone and will submit itself when they get a bar.
My rating looks wrong
Tap the rating and then any change in its history: the app shows the stored reasoning for that change — who you played, how far apart you were, and how much it counted. If a game in there did not happen, dispute the game rather than the rating; fixing the game fixes the number.
My rating has a wide dashed band
That means provisional: you have not played enough games for us to be confident yet. It narrows as you play. It is drawn dashed on purpose, so nobody reads three games as a verdict.
I cannot join a second community
A free account belongs to one community at a time. You can change which one whenever you like and keep your games, your history and your rating. Belonging to more than one at once — or starting your own — needs DinkPartner Plus, $2.99 a month.
I was removed from a community
Community membership is run by that community's owner and admins, not by us, and we do not overrule them. If you were removed for something you believe was abuse, report it and we will look at it.
A tournament I entered was cancelled
The organizer runs the event, so refunds are between you and them, under the refund policy shown on the tournament when you entered. One thing is not up to them: if a tournament is cancelled before the draw, every entry is refunded in full regardless of that policy.
I bought tournament hosting and want a refund
Purchases made in the app are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies — ask them, not us. If the purchase did not unlock what it should have, tell us and we will fix the entitlement.
I need a copy of a waiver I signed
Open Me → Signed waivers in the app. You will see the exact text of the version you signed and when you signed it.
I want to delete my account
It is in the app: open Me and tap Delete account at the bottom. You do not need to email anyone. Your account is closed and your name, handle, photo and email go; your games stay with your place on them reading 'Deleted player', because they are other people's games too. A tournament waiver you signed also stays, detached from your profile — the Privacy Policy explains why.
Someone is harassing me
Block them — it hides both ways, so you are not left visible to somebody you blocked — and report them. If you feel unsafe, say so in the report and we will prioritise it.
A court board shows the wrong thing
The board is built from what people with the app are doing right now, and waits are estimates rather than a countdown. Nothing on it is a booking. If a court is out of service and the board does not say so, tell the community that looks after it.
